FF8 Glitch
In Final Fantasy 8, after the visit to Trabia Garden on the second disc, Zell will be outside the library in his regular clothes. If you go into the library or another section of the Garden, Zell's clothes sometimes change into his SeeD uniform.

THE FINAL BATTLE
It's time to go into Ultimecia's room. Here's what you need to know without spoiling the fun (this battle is actually very much fun but can take up to an hour). You may have chosen your party and built it up to the max, but Ultimecia will HERSELF select three random characters to fight first. I guarantee you they will not be the ones you have selected. Don't worry.
My suspicion is that the game has been designed in such a way that, as long as you use common sense, you cannot lose this battle.
Keep fighting Ultimecia until she starts knocking off the non-equipped characters. They are easy prey but it is worth reviving them while you can because they can use limit breaks. Just do it fast, though, because an angel comes quickly and absorbs the KO'd characters. (You get them back later).
Sooner or later, you'll end up with your chosen three (or two) characters and the battle really begins. Use limit breaks (especially Lionheart) and don't rely too much on GFs. Ultimecia will usually kill them with one blow if you call them. I never got the chance to use Eden against her. Just remember to use Recover and Revive.
Junctioned abilities are very important. Forget about Mug and Initiative, etc. Junction instead the +40% and +60% abilities like Vit, Eva, Luck, Str, Mag. Cast meltdown on her. Auto-Protect is nice. Junction Death to your ST-DEF.
Eventually, only Squall should remain. Ultimecia starts drawing a spell called Holy Judgement from her belly (there is a foetus there?) That is a warning to heal yourself because it will hit you on the next round, causing major damage. Also there will be many times that you are left with 1 HP. You have enough time for a limit break and a quick recover (if you have Auto-haste, Spd+30% and Double of Triple junctioned to speed.
Just remember to stick around for the final scenes after the credits roll. There is a nice movie and a good ending.

Free Stuff
In Dollet, down the street from the Pub you will find the artisans house. Listen to his son's and his conversation. Afterwards, examine the painting. Then follow the guy to the beach. Speak with the girl and him. Then go back to the house. Examine the painting again. Then go to the water fountain where you will find a dog. Examine the dog's collar where you will get an x-potion. You can do this up to 3 times.(potion,mega phoinex) You can only do this on the second disk when Balamb Garden is mobile.

Two important hints to know about when you're on disk 3 and exploring.
A. Malboro Tentacles (needed to upgrade Quistis' weapon) are hard to come by. You can find Malboros at two locations, the Island closest to Heaven and Garibaldi Forest at Esthar.
The island is on the top right of the world map, really small and full of green. The other
location is tricky. Go North on Esthar, climb the flat mountains, and aim North East.
The Malboro-infested forest is towards the back. NOTE: Do not attempt battle without some of
the following: Odin GF (Can save you the battle), STATUS DEFENSES!!!, and/or Phenix Pinions. STATUS DEFENSES you're going to need: against Berserk and Confuse most importantly, Silence and Break kind of important, Sleep not important. Malboro will unleash status attacks against you before you know it, so make sure that you have a party member with Esuna and Recover who cannot be Confused and Berserked. Also make sure that you don't junction Death
Status Attack on a party member that is vulnerable to Confuse because he/she will kill you
all! The best strategy: Endure the attack, use the character you can control to heal the others,
cast Meltdown on Malboro, and use limit breaks. It shouldn't be too hard.
B. At the deep sea deposit after Bahamut is defeated, you muist go back into the Conference
room in the Ragnarok and come back before the bottom levels open up. Go through the seals and
save your game. A BIG BOSS called Ultima Weapon awaits, and he has the best GF in the game, Eden. The best strategy: Ultima Weapon is tough! He kills with one hit and there's also Meteors and stuff to worry about. Make sure that in the first round you do the following: Use one party member to Draw Eden. Use the second to cast Meltdown on Ultima Weapon. Use the third to summon a GF to protect yourself. Then, in my experience, the best way to defeat the monster is with Squall's limit break. Just keep hitting until he uses the LIONHEART limit break,
causing over 100,000 HP of damage.

Obtaining the doomtrain guardian force easier.
you'll need six steel pipes those r easy to get all u need is kill the wendego and you'll get 4 or 5 steel pipes. The toughest items to get r the malboro tentacles (x6) with this tip i'll help u get the malboro tentacles faster then equipung magic.all u will need is odin then u run around until odin appears and finishes off the malboro with one hit getting u 6 tentacles. this will help u from waisting time gathering misc. magic to help u defeat him like the book says.

Eden....
After receiving Ragnarok (Flyer) go to the bottom left of the screen. There should be a base there if you defeat the boss (Bahamut) you will get him to come on you side. After Bahamut go farther into the base and you will fight Altema Weapon draw "Eden" from him.

Hint: Obtaining various magic:
Use Time Magic Refining to refine Three Stars into 100 Triple. Then, Flare, Meteor, and Meltdown can be drawn from high level Behemoth, Ruby Dragon and Gayla respectively. Just use
Tonberry's Lv Up ability to draw, then use Level Down to decrease the experience gain in order to keep your levels low. Death is also one of the best magics to junction to Luck. Tornado
can rise your Eva rate to 21% if you have 100.

Hint: Remodeling weapons:
Squall's weapon can be remodeled easily while keeping his level low. Adamantine can be stolen from BGH251F2 in FH. Dragon Fang can be gotten from a level 1 Blue Dragon in the
Trabia snow forests. Pulse Ammos can be taken from Energy Crystal 1 to 10. However, this is tricky because there are no low level monsters with this item. Even Elnoyle in Esthar must be
at least level 40 to have them (and he cannot be leveled up) Therefore, in order to get the Energy Crystal, get the Elnoyle's card, which can be refined into an Energy Crystal for 10 to 1. Use
the following trick to get 20 Elnoyle's cards. The hotel keeper in front of the Balamb hotel always uses the card for no reason. Just get the card from him. Meanwhile, collect the Iron
Giant's card which can be refined into Star Fragments for 3 to 1. Zell's weapon needs Dragon's Skin which can be obtained from Anacondaur with level 30 or above and can be found in
the forest near Timber. They usually appear in pairs and do not waste any of them. For Fury Fragment, try the cards again. Adamantine can be obtained from Adamantoise or from
Scared's card. Adamantoise must be at least level 30. Have 'Meltdown' magic drawn before fighting it because it has a very high Vit. Do not let allow of the two be wasted because Selphine
also needs it. For Irvine, Dino Bone, Star Fragment, and Screw can be refined from cards. Moon Stone can be stolen from Elnoyle. Your party will definitely have one level up if you fight
him. Quistist's weapon items can all be obtained from cards, and so can Selphine's, except for Adamantine. Regen Ring can be stolen from Torama. Force Armlet should be obtained from
Edea at Galbadia Garden. With all of the above, Squall should be able to have his Str above 230 junctioned Str with 100 Ultima, and a Str +60% ability and level at 24.

Look for UFOs to pass by during a battle in the following places (you must have Diablos' "Enc-None"):
1. Outside Winhill Town
2. Mandy Beach, northeast of Timber
3. Heath Peninsula, east of Trabia Garden
4. Kashkabald Desert.
After sighting all four, fly the Ragnarok to the rocky cliffs above the Chocobo Shrine. Encounter a UFO and defeat it. Then, head to the crater where Balamb Garden used to be. You will encounter a PuPu. Feed him five elixirs and you will be rewarded. Its only a level 5 card, but is definitely the hardest card to find.

For quick "AP" to build up "GF's".
Go to desert by Cactuer Island. Go to closest area of desert by the island. There is a small spot just up from the small island to park "Ballamb Garden", then just walk to this area. (Same general location of "Alien Encounter" just not that far into the Kash desert.) Here there is "kind of" a corner/triangle of sand with no other enemies, it is closest spot like this to the Cactuar island, but only the small cactuer worth 20AP each. Most times you will get two and three to come out. Equip squall with Pandemona; junction Initiative and if you lucky you can have 120 to 180 Ap in three quik battles.
