Secret "Mother" truck
Enter the "Edit Names" option of time trial mode. Enter MAINLINE as a name. A face with a bandage will appear in the top right corner of the screen to confirm correct code entry. Return to the start menu, then move to the right at the truck selection screen to find the new black "Mother" truck. This truck has full speed, full traction, full suspension, and is indestructible. The Pro and Extreme difficulty levels will also be unlocked by this code. This code will remain in effect until your name is changed or the PlayStation is powered off. Frog storm
Set the weather option to "Severe". Enter the "Edit Names" option of time trial mode. Enter RAINFROG as a name. A face will appear to confirm correct code entry.
Asteroids mini-game
Enter the "Edit Names" option of time trial mode. Enter DUTCHMAN as a name. A face will appear to confirm correct code entry. Choose the "Credits" selection under the options menu to start the mini-game.
Buggy mode
Hold Select and quickly press Right, Up, Triangle, Left, Up, Square, Triangle on the practice, qualify, race option screen. The phrase "Buggy Mode Activated" will confirm correct code entry. Your car will turn into a small 4x4 buggy.

Bonus track (Frameout City)
Hold Select and quickly press Left, Circle(2), Triangle(2), Circle, Up, Right on the race qualify screen. The phrase "Bonus Track Activated" will confirm correct code entry. The car-shaped bonus track will be selectable next time a new single race game is started. This track is normally available only after racing all 17 rounds in championship mode, with a finish of first, second, or third in the championship. Save the game to a memory card to keep the bonus track selectable.

German mode
Hold Select and quickly press Down, Up, Left(2), Square, Circle, X on the practice, qualify, race option screen. The phrase "German Mode Activated" will appear. Commentary will now be in German during the race regardless of the selected language. However, commentary must be enabled in the sound options menu to be audible.
