Glandyth's Diablo/HellFire Itemconverter v1.03 for Windows
©1998 Glandyth-a-krae

Release Date: 14. December 1998

- Prologue: The »Glandyth's Diablo/Hellfire Itemconverter« was only done
to transfer legaly found items between Blizzard's Diablo and it's
non-direct successor called Hellfire, not for handling/supporting or
  distributing hacked or cheated items.

(Some people ment to me, that it's »unlegit« to exchange items between
Hellfire and Diablo, but that's their way to see the things, not my.)

The author »Glandyth-a-krae« won't take any warranty for the abusement
  of this utility.

- How does it work: It's a simple fileconverter, which handles both,
files in *.itm or *.hif format.
This formats are suported by the most Diablo hacking tools.
Just load a previous saved itemfile into the converter,
  for that I prefer »Raymond's Diablo Trainer«
  (get it at http://raymond.tierranet.com),
do your selections (if necessary) and save it at last. That's all.

I've tested it with all versions up to 1.07 of Diablo
without having problems, because the *.hif and *.itm format haven't
changed since the 1.02 version of my converter.

- What doesn't work:
  - Converting unique Hellfire-items into Diablo format, which doesn't
exist in Diablo, like the »Bovine Plate«
  - Mostly all bought items won't be transfered correctly, that means
all items equiped at »Griswald« or the »peg-legged boy«

- Changes since 1.02:
  - Fixed a bug concerning the singleplay-uniques.
  - New logo and detailed readme.txt
