Diablo II Character Editor
What it is
This editor modifies your Diablo II character 'save' file (*.d2s). By default you can change your experience and skill levels. There is an advanced mode which will allow you to change every other field, but caution is key.
Getting started
A normal first-time use of the editor should generally follow these steps:
1. Back-up your character file(s):
First, find your Diablo II game directory and either ZIP-up or copy your 'save' directory to another location.
2. Run the Diablo II Character Editor, open your character 'save' file:
Load in your character by clicking 'Open...' and locating your Diablo II 'save' directory using the file requestor.
3. Increase your experience - a lot!
Increase the experience field substaintially... A good number to start with is around 400,000,000 which will bring you to level 73. Click on 'Save!' when done.
