PATCH INSTRUCTIONS:
THIS PATCH NEEDS THE VISUAL BASIC 6.0 RUNTIME LIBRARYS.
GET THEM FOR FREE AT:
ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/softlib/MSLFILES/vbrun60.exe
RUN THIS PATCH IN YOUR DESCENT3 SUBFOLDER.
THIS PATCH IS FOR THE EUROPEAN v1.3.1 with LASERLOCK.
THE FILE [MAIN.EXE] WILL BE CHANGED.
CDROM COPY:
-D3 will run with a backup copy CDROM set of D3.
NOCDROM:
-D3 will run from the harddisk without any CDROM in drive.
(medium installation necessary)
-Create dummy movies:
this will create small necessary movies on your HD
in the "MOVIES" subfolder.
you can replace them by the originals if there is
enough space on your harddisk. ;O)
UNDO PATCHES:
-All patches will be reversed back to original.
