Settlers 1.60 crack
How to use:
* Install Settlers 3.
* Download 1.60 patch from www.settlers3.com
* Install 1.60 patch
* replace s3.exe with the one from this archive
You still need the CD to play, but the ProtectCD protection is gone and you can use a backup.

I figured most people will still play from the CDs since it's a 2 disc game. BUT, if you really want to play without the CD, also extract and run the nocd.exe in the directory you installed Settlers 3 to. You'll also need to copy some of the files on the CD(s) to your hard drive. At the very minimum, copy the S3CD1.DAT (CD1) and S3CD2.DAT (CD2) files to your Settlers 3 directory. To play campaign mode, you'll need to copy disc 2's directories/files over. Movies won't play. Perhaps it's fixable, perhaps it's not, maybe it's got other problems. I don't know, don't really care, I'm tired... :)
Sorry it's so big, but I didn't feel like spending a lot of time to remove the VOB code. If you want it smaller, UPX it or something..
Thanks to r!sc, for without his info, this crack would have taken a lot longer than it did.
update to the crack: Removed most of the VOB code, resulting in about 900KB saved space, I also accidentally included the already no-cd'd exe in the original archive. This one should be okay. Sorry 'bout that!
