º [ 5. Copy the patched files (FRED.EXE, FREESPACE.EXE, FS.EXE and ] º
º [ ROOT.VP) from the game directory to the temporary directory, ] º
º [ rename FRED.EXE to FRED.EX_, FREESPACE.EXE to FREESPACE.EX_, ] º
º [ and FS.EXE to FS.EX_, replacing existing files ] º
º [ 6. Copy my patch to the temporary directory and execute it. ] º
º [ (note: Make sure the files aren't read-only anymore.) ] º
